Sansindo Tiger Print Black/Orange
The Sansindo Tiger was inspired by tales of the East – his charm is in his stance and scale. On first glance, the tiger’s boldness takes over. But look closer and you’ll notice his gentle features: the love heart nose, smooth tail, delicate feet and vogue eyebrows. For the guys, the tiger energy is translated in powerful orange.
Byron Tropical Print Navy/Green
What’s not to love about Byron Bay, the small balmy beach town of New South Wales? It’s both mellow and creative, and we wanted to capture that slower pace of life. The Byron print is an ode to this barefoot eco-luxury. The tonal colourway and soft illustrations are designed in the same calm aesthetic of the town.
La Loteria Print White Blue
La Loteria is Mexico’s national game. It‘s their version of Bingo. Packets of colourfully illustrated cards hang from market stalls across the city. Borrowing some of their characters - El Sol, La Sirena, La Mano - we reinterpret, and redrew! Why white? Well, the truth is we saw Armie Hammer in a white set of PJs in The Man from Uncle and thought he looked great.
La Loteria Print Navy Red
La Loteria is Mexico’s national game. It‘s their version of Bingo. Packets of colourfully illustrated cards hang from market stalls across the city. Borrowing some of their characters - El Sol, La Sirena, La Mano - we re-interpreted, and redrew them! While navy might be an obvious colour for men's pyjamas, the red gives the guys a little something-something.
The Zocalo Print
The Zocalo print is named after the main square of Oaxaca, a city known for its textiles. It was here that we discovered Otomi, a traditional style of Mexican embroidery. Inspired by these designs, Alice, our resident artist, has created our own version!
Bellas Artes Print
The Bellas Artes Print, named after the Palacio de Bellas Artes, is our nod to the Mexican mural. Our first placement print, this two-piece is our hero set for the season. The painterly details of the background turn these pyjamas into a piece of art.
Caballo Horse Print Navy
The Caballo print represents both the wild mustangs of northern Mexico for their strength and resilience, and the Escaramuza horses, ridden as part of the only female equestrian event in the country, for their skill and grace.
La Sirena Print Black Multi
When you think of Mexican art, Frida Kahlo is usually first to mind. We love her strength, courage and flare but wanted our collection to capture the mood of modern Mexico. When we visited Kahlo's family home, Casa Azul, we spotted a little terracotta statue of La Sirena in the corner. This print is our subtle nod to the woman who had such an impact on putting Mexico’s art on the world map.
Medina Stripe Print Multi
The Medina Stripe print celebrates the saturated hues that spill the streets and bazaars of Marrakesh. By combining vivid and tonal colours, the simplicity of a solid stripe is elevated to modern heights.
The Pop Artist Fruit Print Multi
A show-stopping fruit platter. Celebrating bright colours and bold shapes, The Pop Artist is a tribute to the greats, David Hockney and Andy Warhol. Exclusively for the guys, our teal and orange version is a modern combination of the artists’ palettes.
Victor Print Blue
One of our much-loved prints from The Runaways collections – inspired by the freedom and romance of Monaco in the 1950s – Victor is our masculine take on florals. We imagine it to be worn by the carefree golden boys of the time as they test their luck at the tables of Monte Carlo’s iconic casinos. The blue version is our more subdued of the two colourways expressing subtle elegance.
