D&Ds are true to size, but if in doubt, we say go bigger. You can also view our size guide here or get in touch if you’re not sure.
We offer free monogramming on all robes and pyjamas with a top pocket. Up to three initials, in six different shades. A practical, no nonsense luxury and a very good gift.
3–5 days, depending on your chosen delivery method. If it’s urgent, email us with your order number to customercare@desmondanddempsey.com and we’ll do our best to speed things up for you.
If you’re ordering your D&D’s with less than a week until Christmas, please be aware that adding a monogram will add an extra couple of days to your orders dispatch! For a guaranteed delivery pre Christmas, consider not adding the monogram.
Please note that monogrammed items are non returnable.
Proper treatment can make a big difference to the lifespan of your pyjamas.
Unbutton our products carefully; pulling will strain the thread and loosen the buttons. If a button does come loose, remove the thread and repair.
There is no need to wash D&Ds separately or by hand. But we recommend machine washing our pyjamas on 30 degrees or cold and with similar colours. Top tip: Washing with a full load and a proper spin will also reduce water waste.
Take laundry straight out of the machine, give it a strong shake and hang dry on a coat hanger if possible.
We advise staying away from the tumble dryer for the cotton voile and linen products. And please note that due to their delicacy, the broderie anglaise items are dry clean only.
We recommend an iron finish. Ironing brings back that ‘fresh out of the box’ feeling.
Cotton is very absorbent, so we recommend washing pyjamas once a week.
Our D&Ds come gift-wrapped in tissue paper inside a D&D print box. Just in case they need to exchange, a gift receipt is included. If you require separate gift boxes for multiple gifts, please process orders separately or get in touch with our team and we'll help you out. If it’s a particularly special gift and you’d like something extra special – we can help. Email customercare@desmondanddempsey.com. Sale items will not be packaged in our usual gift box, they will arrive in tissue paper inside a recyclable kraft mailer.
